Blogmas 2015.

Here's what it comes down to: It isn't that I haven't been inspired for my blog. Heck, it's not even close to that. And really, I don't even feel I can use the phrase "I don't have time". But what I can tell you is that I've been better about keeping myself sane and happy, and doing the necessary things in life to keep it that way. Most days, I come home and just really don't have the desire to open up my Mac. I'm finding when you work an office job behind a computer for 8 hours a day, it doesn't really seem all that awesome to open it up for another few hours when I get home. And since the blog has been on my mind a lot this past week... I'm going to do something about it.

If you haven't already gathered from my past months of 'Currently' post, watching YouTube videos has become a new pastime. And not in the way that I'm mindlessly watching video after video that suggested to me, OR uploading my own, but I've found some pretty amazing people in this world that have brightened up my days. On that list? The Saccone Joly's (along with Jonathan and Anna's personal channels), Zoella (here and here), Alfie (here and here), Gabriella (here and here), Connor Franta (here)...and really many more (it could get pretty obnoxious). I would have never thought tuning into their lives would have such a positive effect on my own.

While you may think I have plans for a YouTube channel - I'm not there...yet. And maybe I never will be - but that's a chat for another day.

But... I am inspired by both Zoe and Anna to do Blogmas for the month of December (and up until Christmas Eve/Day), while they do Vlogmas over on their channels. For me, some posts may be planned, while others may just become a mash-up of random thoughts (and photos) from the day. It kind of feels like the best challenge ever, and will give me something to work towards during the month of December.

A little challenge never hurt anyone, right?

My only guideline is that I HAVE to get something up that day. Whether it is morning or evening, it won't really matter for me. I'd like to think I'd be ahead of the game and have posts ready, but also think it would be fun to get a little vulnerable and just press 'Publish' on a post written up within an hour (yet another good idea - set timer & just type!).

Cheers to the 24 days ahead of me!

Bloggers - Have you ever considered a challenge like this for your own blog?

Any ideas for some posts for the next couple of weeks?
