A: Clean & Jerk, 1 rep - build to heavy / 100#

End Result: 5 + 16 reps / Felt really awful at the end of this WOD. Not certain what was going on in my body, but as I like to describe how some WODs felt - it felt like garbage. I was glad to finish and knew something was off after the workout for the rest of the day

Skill Programming / None.

NO SPORT CLASS / I was feeling very off and exhausted in the morning, and didn't start to feel better throughout the day. I knew it would benefit me more to rest, so I listened to my body. After messaging with Ryan, we decide to shift my Hatch squats to Wednesday and Friday, with skipping a normal class WOD on Friday morning.

06.16.2015 - Tuesday

CLASS WOD - 1800

A: 10 EMOM x3 Negative HSPU

B: 10 AMRAP

200m Sprint

End Result: 3 + 8 / Ick again.

C: W:30, R:10 (x5) Hollow Rocks

Skill Programming / I considered part A of the class as my skill work, since it matched up to what I was suppose to do on Monday.

06.17.2015 - Wednesday

CLASS WOD - 0520

A: (x10) 3 UB Kipping HSPU, :45sec. rest

B: 20-10-5-10-20

Burpee Box Overs (20")

American KB Swings (45#)

Buy-Out: 200 SU's

End Result: 14:41 / Kept a pace and that was all that mattered for this.

Skill Programming / I had planned to do (x5) 5 coach assisted strict pull-ups, but because of my back, I did not do any skill programming.

REST DAY

Very needed after having a hurt back. Tried to relax a lot instead.

This was my make-up so I could be caught up on my squatting for this week of Hatch. No skill programming; I did go on a 400m jog and attempted to work through DU's.


 

Sleep + Nutrition /

Sleep was okay this week. Matt was gone in Vegas, so the bed just felt off without him here. I tried to allow Lumi to sleep with me some of the nights, which ended up not always working out since she woke me up. I, unfortunately, had insomnia on Tuesday night. Contributing factors: doing the evening WOD, having a huge dinner, and having anxious feelings. I am certain I was have an anxiety attack as I was trying to fall asleep, so I made sure to try and find ways to calm myself and my mind down.

Nutrition felt pretty good this week as I was tracking macros. I was able to find some meals that stuck with me during the day. I did eat out three nights, but that was okay. First night was for me, second night was to connect after the WOD, and the third night was with one of my best gal pals for a little date night. Towards the end of the week, I was getting frustrated with macros/tracking. At this time, I will be looking for more one-on-one help.
