A: Deadlift 3-3-3-3

115# / 125# / 175# / 195# | Considering a few months ago, 195# would have been considering my 1RM, it was a good feeling to hit 195# for 3. I do remember feeling rushed during this particular strength portion of the day, as most everyone was already done with their deadlifts when I was on my third set of 3.

Clean Grip Snatch & 3-Position Pause on Clean (variations) / We did this movements to slow down the clean and to work on the position. Also, both would be helpful when it comes to warming up for clean movements, or even snatch movements as well. Since the start of sport classes, we are continuing to work on my speed and my ability of getting under the bar quicker.

Skill Programming / Worked on arm positioning for DU's. Trying to focus on keeping them in my peripheral, and keep them in more.

REST DAY / As per my programming, it was a rest day. Don't remember much else, except it was also my dad's birthday!

End Result / 14:54 - RX + PR! It was an exciting day to be able to do another Benchmark Girl RX. And while the last time I did Helen it was around 12 minutes, this year I had pull-ups and felt pretty darn proud.

Also, handstand walk work! Two times I was able to take four steps! It was a day of PRs and was celebrated with a cold press coffee from Duluth Grill.

06.13.2015 + 06.14.2015 - Saturday & Sunday

REST DAYS / Saturday consisted of celebrating my cousin's beautiful weekend. As a PA (personal attendant), I was on my feet a lot during the day, which felt like a workout in and of itself in wedges. I took it as a time to enjoy my family and reconnect with family members I hadn't seen in awhile. Sunday was full of trying to relax my muscles after feeling stiff in the morning. I attended a graduation party for my old boss's daughter and really enjoyed seeing them, as well as two of my old coworkers. I had plans to go on a walk, but once I was home, I was completely wiped out and exhausted.

Sleep + Nutrition

Since adding Pure Pharma M3 into my sleep routine, it has been awesome. I am so thankful to have found this product, as it has been since the Saturday of Regionals that I have yet to get insomnia.

As I try to recall back to this particular week, I was in the process of starting to track on MFP, in hopes to start following my macros. Nothing else stands out in my mind.
