CLASS WOD A: Skill: 5 minutes of Hollow Rocks
This was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. It would be a great skill to add in every couple of weeks to see if it becomes easier to go a longer length of time. I believe it was around the 7:00min. mark on the clock when I finally reached my cumulative of 5 minutes.
B: 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 FT (for time):
Dball Get-Ups (10#)
End Result: 19:07
This WOD went really well for me. My plan of breaking up the 21, 18, 15, and I believe 12, deadlifts was a good idea. I just split them in half. On the dball get-ups, I made sure to just keep moving, and switch arms so I wouldn't feel fatigued on one side. HRPU could have been quicker, but from doing the 8" deficit negative HSPU on Thursday, my arms needed to rest more than usually. I had hopes of finish before 20 minutes, and succeeded at that. I would have done the sport version, but with Murph on Saturday, I did life and was really happy with the decision to do so.
Sleep / A really awesome night of sleep, which was much appreciated after the insomnia fiasco of Tuesday night. Again, just around 6.5 hours, but just what I really need to be able to wake up and WOD at 5:20am.
Nutrition / Another odd stomach after waking up and working out, but it is something my body seems to be used to. I didn't really have a normal dinner the night before since we were at Matt's grandma's, but I was conscious of how much of everything I ate to hopefully alleviate the chance of a bad stomachache. I made sure to have two good post-WOD 'snacks' while waiting for Mary to be done with the 6:30 class so we could go out for breakfast. I had my usual, and noticed it filled me up a lot more since I wasn't eating it directly after a WOD. I made sure to eat when I was hungry at work, and take necessary breaks to do so. It was a Friday of feeling quite hungry!
